Entry 005 - Sick Bastard

Dear blog,

As I read a local newspaper, I came across this story which attracted my attention. Made me sad to know that human value is deteriorating.

"Dalam tempoh lima bulan, seorang ketua penjenayah yang juga perogol bersiri dikenali sebagai Jongos dikesan menculik dan merogol sekurang-kurangnya lapan wanita dan gadis sunti. Lebih memeranjatkan apabila lelaki gila seks terbabit didapati sengaja menanam bebola besi ke dalam kemaluannya dipercayai untuk mendapatkan lebih keseronokan ketika memperkosa mangsa bersama beberapa rakan lain". (Taken from Harian Metro).

Isn't it shameful to know, as humans are entering the phase of a civilised world, there are still 'wild beast' out there that threatens the very life of other innocent beings. To my humblest opinion, as human are advancing through modernity and urbanisation, spiritual aspects, morality, even rationality is diminishing away. I hate to say this, but doomsday is coming soon and there are people who didn't care. Social illness is spreading like a plague. I fear that one day, there will be more mothers who don't have a child. A mother, who doesn't know which one, is the father. A mother, who doesn't even care about the existence of a weak life. A mother, who doesn’t even know she’s a mother.

Animals, guided by instinct serves to protect its descendants. What about us, the human which have the most greatest gift of all, the mind itself?

Look at his eyes. Think, such small creatures that learn through observing others around him, but still need the guidance by adults. Where's the responsibility?

Hence, I pray for everyone to realize their role in society, to think before you act, to love before you hate, to give before you take, and to smile before you cry. Dear God, give these babies a chance to beloved, and a chance to see a brighter future. Don't let them fall behind, corrupted by devious mind that seeks to destroy a human's civilisation. Let there be light that shine above us all.
